We’re pleased to announce that we have appointed Tod Nielsen as FinancialForce’s new CEO and President, effective immediately.
Tod’s appointment is a clear reflection of the company’s current state: ready to take on the future and fired up after another strong year of growth and successful customers. FinancialForce is poised for major expansion in the cloud ERP market and we’re excited what Tod’s unique experience in turning cloud companies of our size into billion dollar tech titans can do for us. There is enormous opportunity for FinancialForce that lies ahead, and we couldn’t be happier with Tod joining our family and helping us and our customers achieve continued success.
Tod brings decades of experience to the company and has a proven record of taking customer-centric technology companies like FinancialForce to the next level. Previously, Tod was Executive Vice President of Platform at Salesforce, Chief Executive Officer of Heroku (which was acquired by Salesforce in 2011), Chief Operating Officer at VMware and Chief Executive Officer of Borland Corporation.
Jeremy Roche, our beloved former CEO of FinancialForce, will continue to serve as Founder and special advisor to the management team. Jeremy was one of the first to see the massive potential of building ERP applications on the Salesforce Platform and is responsible for growing the company to where we sit as a leader on the platform today. We cannot thank him enough for his leadership and contributions. To us, he’s a true pioneer and visionary, and will miss him tremendously.
Today’s announcement follows another strong year in which FinancialForce achieved approximately 40+% in revenue growth and is rapidly approaching the $100 million annual revenue run rate milestone.
