Community Live: Let’s get serious about training

If you haven’t yet registered for this year’s customer conference, Community Live, not only are you missing out on BIG early bird savings, but you could also be missing out on ROI busting product training. Community Live is the only place where you will get a choice of 16 different training sessions and access to an array of FinancialForce experts. It’s a great way for you to maximize investment in your FinancialForce products.

Based on customer feedback from previous years, the London and Las Vegas events have been extended by a day this year to offer a full day of training in both locations. The training includes hands-on sessions, where you will be led by an instructor to perform specific real-time tasks within our applications.  And for the lecture style training, you will be provided with a workbook and an org so that you can go away and practice the exercises you’ve seen in your own time.

The power of hands-on training is undeniable
Adults learn experientially.  As Deb Peterson explains in her article on Experimental Learning, adults learn better when they experience what they’re learning.  Hands-on training is focused on that very premise – learn then try on your own.

Hands-on training provides a safe learning environment
Simulations used in hands-on training sessions, based on real life scenarios will reflect several challenges with the software you might face when returning to the job. Mistakes happen during the course of learning, and using simulations with ‘fake’ data means having fun while learning new things, in a safe controlled environment.

Hands-on training links theory and practice
Hands-on training will include fundamental theory but by moving beyond theory to the realm of “learning by doing,’ the trainee gets a first-hand experience of practicing what has been taught. This plays a crucial role in retaining concepts and ideas.

Hands-on training increases engagement levels
Hands-on learning brings into play not only student–instructor interaction but also peer-to-peer interaction. This focus on collaboration and learning from each other benefits the attendee as it increases engagement.

Hands-on training delivers exceptional Return on Investment
Experiential learning is personal and effective in nature, influencing both feelings and emotions as well as enhancing knowledge and skills. It goes beyond classroom learning and ensures that there is high level of retention, thereby delivering exceptional ROI over a traditional learning program.

Hear the benefits FinancialForce customers have seen first hand:
